Frederick II

Golden Ale 75 cl

7,30

The aroma is delicate, with hints of wheat and yeast, accompanied by notes ofcitrusandexotic fruit, derivedfrom the use of mild hops.

The flavor profile is fresh and slightly fruity, with notes of citrus and tropical fruit, accompanied by a delicate malty sweetness. The hops impart a subtle, yet not overpowering, bitterness and help create a dry, clean finish. The malt lends a sweet note and a smooth body to the beer. There is also a moderate effervescence on the palate.

Why Frederick II?

He was one of the most important figures of the Middle Ages, among the few who shaped the course of European history as a whole. King of Sicily, Germany, and Jerusalem, and Holy Roman Emperor, Frederick was also a patron of poets and artists; a philosopher and man of letters in his own right; and the founder of the poetic school that gave rise to Italian literature.
