It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we announce the appointment ofMatteo Minelli, founder and CEO of Birra Flea, as vice president of AssoBirra , representingcraft brewerieswith responsibility for Internationalization and Association Development. The association will be led by Alfredo Pratolongo (Heineken Italia), and the other vice presidents will be Antonio Catalani (Malteria Agroalimentare Sud), representing malt producers and responsible for Raw Materials and Related Supply Chains, and Federico Sannella (Birra Peroni), representing large breweries and responsible for Ecological Transition and Sustainability.
Founded in 1907, the association brings together the leading companies that produce and market beer and malt in Italy. AssoBirra is a member of Confindustria and Federalimentare, and is part of The Brewers of Europe, Euromalt (Comité de Travail des Malteries), and the EBC (European Brewery Convention).
Matteo Minelli was first appointed Vice President in July 2017.
