We know this year’s Christmas won’t be like any other. We’re all eager to see our relatives and friends again after so long and give them all a big hug. But that won’t be possible. Sure, there are messaging apps and video calls, but it’s not the same.

We have two options for navigating the holidays in this unusual way. The first: we can complain, say it’s not fair, and get angry at the whole world. It’s probably a great way to vent, but nothing more. We won’t have found any solutions.

The second option is to organize ourselves in full and total compliance with the rules. It can still be a wonderful Christmas. To make a difference, we need to bring to this small but warm table something that represents all the love we’d like to convey through hugs.
