In an interview with the publication, founder Matteo Minelli explained how Umbrian ingredients make Birra Flea unique: “The high-quality malts are made from barley grown in Umbria. They are then processed at the family farm. Hops, yeast, and sugar are sourced exclusively from select suppliers. Pure water flows from the Apennine mountains of Gualdo Tadino. The beer is refermented in the bottle to preserve its original organoleptic characteristics, without the addition of chemical additives. Our mission is to further increase our exports of Made in Italy products, which are rooted in high-quality ingredients and raw materials. These are our strengths, along with our willingness to help and attention to our customers.”
