Following last year’s huge success, the “?????????? ???? – ????? ?? ?????” is not only returning but is becoming an even bigger and more established presence on the regional and national scene. The summer camp in Gualdo Tadino, launched twelve months ago based on an idea by Matteo Minelli, will begin on Monday, June 14, at the C.A. Luzi municipal stadium and will run through Friday, August 6, effectively doubling its duration compared to 2020. Girls and boys ages 6 to 15 can participate completely free of charge. Registration is now open.
The significant and positive impact that CAMP had on the local community last year attracted the attention not only of the FIGC and CONI—represented by Regional President Ignozza—but also of local institutions. This led to collaborations with numerous organizations, ranging from the municipal administration to the Gualdo Tadino Comprehensive School, as well as Ecosuntek S.p.A., Birra Flea, and the city’s major sports associations. The campus also received the patronage of the Municipality of Gualdo Tadino and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia.
The presentation took place on Wednesday, June 9, at the Luzi Stadium in Gualdo Tadino. Representing Ecosuntek S.p.A. and Birra Flea, the project’s sponsors, was Diego Pascolini, Chief Financial Officer of the Ecosuntek Group: “We want to create a larger, more sustainable project over time so that we can channel the tremendous energy we have in this city.” The President of the Gualdo Tadino Comprehensive School District, Dr. Fabrizio Bisciaio, emphasized the importance of reclaiming the deep-rooted sense of community embedded in the local area by involving all city organizations, giving young people back what has been taken from them during these difficult months. The President of the Umbrian section of CONI, Dr. Domenico Ignozza, thanked everyone who will enable young people to engage in sports and culture, an inseparable pairing. The mayor of Gualdo Tadino, Dr. Massimiliano Presciutti, noted how the city’s cultural and sports associations are a treasure for the entire community and, citing the name of the campus, explained how success is achieved when we value what unites us.
